What's your "hidden gem" spot on or nearby campus?

My hidden gem is Swan Lake. It's beautiful in every season and the perfect spot to take a moment to appreciate our peaceful and beautiful campus. 

What does it mean to be a Laker?

Being a Laker means being a part of a community where people care. It's about helping students reach their goals and cheering them on every step of the way. 

If you could give your freshman self one piece of advice, what would it be?

I'd tell my freshman self to relax ~ you don't have to have it all planned out yet. Enjoy the experience, meet new people, and give yourself grace while figuring it all out. As Helen Hayes said, "The expert in anything was once a beginner."
